10/12/2016 – UTILCELL has been awarded as the BEST SENSOR 2016 (Mod. 300) and BEST MEASUREMENT SYSTEM 2016 (SWIFT) and finalist in second place BEST AUTOMATION COMPANY 2016 in the industrial portal AUTOMATION INSIDE AWARDS. The Model 300 with its mounting accessories provide a robust and accurate weighing in industrial applications in tanks and hoppers. The Weight Indicator and High Speed Transmitter SWIFT is characterized by its easy installation in industrial applications, in DIN rail or PANEL mounting, both static and dynamic weighing.

20/11/2016 – UTILCELL launches the new SWIFT COM as an extension of the SWIFT Weighing Indicators and High-speed Transmitter’s family. Is specially designed to work in automation and centralized control applications and offers an optimized design without screen, keyboard and calibration switch making this new transmitter a very competitive solution.

15/11/2016 – UTILCELL launches the new SWIFT-PC SOFTWARE. Remote configuration and calibration is added to our entire range of SWIFT transmitters. In addition to the complete calibration via RS-232, it is now possible to remotely configure various equipment connected to the RS-485 bus from a single central computer, without physically moving to each SWIFT transmitter, significantly reducing the time and costs of commissioning.

14/11/2016 – UTILCELL incorporate in the general catalogue of standard products the capacity of 50t for the Model 740 and 740D thus covering more capacities in-between 15t and 600t. The Model 740 is a leader in truck scales and high capacity weighing systems.

20/07/2016 – UTILCELL has new mounting kits for weighing high capacity tank and silos, certified according the European Standard EN 1090. Fulfilling the requirements on technical design, materials and production quality, for components used in steel structures according Construction Product Regulation, mandatory since July 2014.

20/07/2016 – The load cell Mod. 300 (10…500kg) has obtained the metrological certification NTEP Class IIIL 10.000 divisions, complying with the metrological requirements of USA and Canada. This model has the following certifications: OIML, IP68/IP69K and ATEX (for potentially explosive atmospheres). The main applications are in the platform scales, packaging industry, and process weighing for tanks, silos and reactors.

20/07/2016 – UTILCELL has obtained the metrological certification OIML R60 class C of 6000 divisions for the Load Cell Mod. 300 (50…250kg). Increase the accuracy of weighing systems has many advantages: in high production packaging machinery allows saving losses due to overfilling of containers; in the mixers, a second scale is not needed for the minor ingredients, the formula can be weigh in the main tank mounted on high precision load cells.

20/07/2016 – UTILCELL collaborates with the Automation Department of the Polytechnic University of Cologne, in Germany, in the investigation and development of weighing projects 4.0. The project is based on a control system of a deposit level to integrate the data in the net.
