10/04/2018 – The new filling and dosing application for the weighing indicator and high-speed transmitter SWIFT is now available. This application solves easy, rapid and accurately, the single-product charge and discharge, of solid or liquid materials in containers, batching and filling machines, big bags, etc.

08/01/2018 – Utilcell has obtained the FM Approval (Factory Mutual Approval) special to work in hazardous locations. So far, the approved Utilcell models are: 140, 160, 190, 260, 300, 350, 480, 630 and 740. These load cells have been tested properly according to the requirements of Intrinsic Safety of the USA and Canada.

04/12/2017 – UTILCELL has been awarded as the BEST MEASUREMENT SYSTEM 2017 (SWIFT) in the industrial portal AUTOMATION INSIDE AWARDS. 08/11/17 – The load cell Mod. 190 (15…400 kg & 30…900 lb) has obtained the metrological certification NTEP Class III / Single Cell 5.000 divisions, complying with the metrological requirements of USA and Canada. This model has the International Test Certificate OIML and the Protective in Potentially Explosive Atmospheres ATEX. In addition, it has high performance protection IP68 and IP69K. The main applications are in the direct platforms up 800×800 mm and filling machines.

30/10/2017 – We extend the range of our popular accessory silent-block with lift-off prevention for model 350 up to 10000kg. Now they are available in 3 range sizes: 300…2,000kg, 3,000…5,000kg and 7,500…10,000kg. They have also 3 kinds of finishing: Zinc plated steel alloy and stainless steel.

These silent-block have a rubber pad which add flexibility in applications like tanks, reactors and machinery, which require a semi-rigid bearing point in case of vibrations, impacts or thermal expansions. This flexibility will help on improving …
