11/01/2016 – UTILCELL obtain the ATEX certification for its load PIN to work in potentially explosive atmospheres zones 0, 1 and 2 (gas and 20, 21 and 22 (dust). The certification covers both configurations of PINZ IP 66 with external gauges and silicone sealing, such as PINH IP 68 with inner gauges and hermetically sealed. It also covers versions of standard output signal directly from the strain gauges in mV/V, as the amplified signal conditioner 4/20mA integrated.

09/02/2015 – PROFIBUS is now the world’s most popular communication field bus in industrial automation, it allows interconnectivity of different devices in a standard, flexible and safe way. PROFINET is the new upgrade improving communication performances in higher speed and reliability based on Ethernet. These new versions SWIFT PROFIBUS and SWIFT PROFINET will allow transmission of the weight directly to remote devices, as PLC’s, using standard industrial networks, making easy the integration of process weighing in industrial applications.
